Everyone always asks me about sp farming so im guna post it here so i dont have to explain it every time.
when you sp farm you get more sp but less exp. to sp farm you need a skill gap the higher a gap you have the more sp you get. a gap is what every your lvl skill mastery(the highest one you have) is and the lvl you are the numbers in between is the gap. for example if i am lvl 21 and my cold is 10, fire 16 and blade skills are 21(chineese) then i have a skill gap of 0. so for every monster i kill i get 10 exp and 1sp then i lvl up so now i have a gap of 1 so i get 9 exp and 2 sp. if i am lvl 21 and my highest mastery is 22 then for every monster i get 1 exp and 10 sp. so i lvl alot slower but i get lots of skill points and when i have lost i spend them all and have lots of skills. if you dont like to have to lvl so slowly you can also just keep a gap of 3. so you get a little less exp and a little more sp then normal if you ALWAYS have a gap of 3 you do ok and dont every have to lvl real slow and sp farm. when sp farming the highest gap you can get is 9(you can have a higher gap but there is no difference once past 9)
ok hope that helps

TO add on a bit:
SP farming is suggested at lvl 16 with a 9 gap. That is why you would see Lvl 16 SoS +5 bows selling for 14 million.
However, there are new ways with the addition of Euro.
What people do now is they will start a new character and power farm it at Euro Ongs. Power farming is like power leveling, except for SP.
